Paul Barbera is a photographer with an observational reportage style whose work spans from cultural anthropology through to luxury living. Paul was born in Melbourne, Australia and currently resides in New York City. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
With an adaptable yet distinct visual approach, his assignments regularly take him around the globe, working with publications like ELLE DÉCOR, VOGUE LIVING, SURFACE MAGAZINE, FRAME, and MR. PORTER. His clients include MARRIOTT HOTELS & RESORTS, STARBUCKS, BUGABOO and DEDON. His recent motion campaigns were with BANK OF ETIHAD and COX.
He has been featured in HYPEBEAST, T: THE NEW YORK TIMES MAGAZINE, HIGH SNOBIETY, AMUSE, ANOTHER MAGAZINE and ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST.
Barbera has turned his long term online passion project Love Lost into an ongoing series of publications with the first limited edition book sold at Dashwood Books in New York.
His previous book release, Where They Create, is a visual documentation of the creative environments of artists & creatives that he meets during his travels for assignments, which is based on his blog of the same name and is available globally. His second book in the series, Where They Create Japan was released in 2016/17. Both were published by FRAME.
