For this campaign, my approach to photography and direction centered on elevating James Hardie’s modern design aesthetic through a refined, aspirational visual language. The goal was to create imagery that felt architectural, lived-in, and emotionally resonant.

Photographic & Directorial Approach:

Natural & Inviting – The imagery embraced warm, natural light, suburban authenticity, and thoughtful composition to make modern homes feel aspirational yet attainable.

Material & Detail Storytelling – Close-up vignettes highlighted the tactility of James Hardie’s fibre cement, reinforcing its premium quality and versatility in contemporary home design.

Cinematic Influence – My direction for video incorporated a storytelling element, using movement and framing to create a sense of place, atmosphere, and lifestyle integration.

By aligning the visuals with high-end architectural photography principles, the campaign positioned James Hardie not just as a building materials brand, but as a tastemaker in modern home design.
