Trout Beck, nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley, is a historic estate that has been transformed into a luxurious high-end getaway. Originally established in the late 19th century, the property has a rich history as a retreat for artists, writers, and nature enthusiasts. The estate’s timeless charm and natural beauty have been meticulously preserved, blending seamlessly with modern amenities to offer an unparalleled experience for guests seeking tranquility and refinement.
Project Overview:
I was commissioned to create comprehensive imagery for Trout Beck, capturing the essence of its luxurious offerings, from the exquisitely designed hotel rooms to the inviting restaurants and lifestyle facilities. The project was conducted in multiple stages to ensure every aspect of the estate was showcased to its fullest potential.
Photography Process:
• During my initial visit, I focused on photographing the various spaces and rooms within Trout Beck, exploring the estate at different times of the day to capture the changing light and convey the ambiance guests would experience.
• Following this, Elle Decor expressed interest in featuring Trout Beck, prompting a second visit to take portraits and additional shots to enhance the feature’s narrative, delving deeper into the personal stories and unique elements of the estate.
Outcome:
The final imagery captured the luxurious and serene environment of Trout Beck, emphasizing its historical significance and modern elegance. The photographs not only highlight the beauty of the rooms and facilities but also the enchanting grounds that surround the estate. This comprehensive visual representation helped establish Trout Beck as a premier luxury getaway in the Hudson Valley, appealing to discerning travelers and lifestyle publications alike.
